⚫Current Network Architecture and SolutionPlanning: Analyze the current networkarchitecture, data flow, and the integration with existing network and cybersecurity devices at the organization. Propose a comprehensive solution for optimization.⚫High Availability and Scalability: Propose plans to ensure high availability for the external firewall equipment, as well as future scalability with current networking and cybersecurity equipment.⚫Construction Planning: The vendor must provide a detailed construction plan that includes the construction items, methods, execution sequence, and important considerations for the implementation of the project.⚫Time line and Execution Phases: The vendor is required to provide a timeline in table format, outlining the different phases of the project, such as pre work, execution, functionality testing, and troubleshooting. Each phase should include details on the execution order, tasks, responsible personnel, estimated time, and impact.⚫Policy Migration Planning: The vendor should propose a detailed plan for migrating existing firewall and IPS policies, including themethodology for the transfer, stages of migration(e.g ., phased or full), and testing procedures to ensure successful implementation.⚫Inventory of Existing Policies: Conduct acomprehensive review and inventory of the current firewall and IPS policies, including theirstructure, effectiveness, and any redundancies.⚫Optimization Recommendations: Provide a detailed report with recommendations for optimizing the existing firewall and IPS policies. This should include adjustments such as reordering policies, removing redundant or obsolete policies, and refining rules for improved performance and security.⚫Migration Strategy and Validation: Propose a migration plan for transferring the optimizedpolicies, including the migration timeline,approach (e.g., phased or full migration), andvalidation procedures to ensure that the newpolicies function correctly post migration. Thevalidation process should include testing andverification steps to confirm proper operation.The bidding documents must be received at the following location by 5:00 PM on the bid closing date indicated in the announcement, either by mail or in person: External mailroom of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (No. 15, Fuzhou Street, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City), located next to the guard room at the main entrance.
